Design

Designed to sit above a radiator, creating valuable display and storage space while introducing warmth and texture to the room. The generous 1.2 metre length makes it ideal for larger hallways, living rooms and entrance spaces where a substantial shelf can become an architectural feature in its own right.

Style advice from Mark

Radiator shelves are one of the simplest ways to make a hallway feel more considered. Rather than leaving a radiator exposed, the shelf creates a place for artwork, lamps, flowers or seasonal displays, giving the room a natural focal point. I particularly like this larger version in Victorian and Georgian homes, where its generous proportions feel entirely at home.

Installation

Supplied with two 6-inch sand-cast bronze brackets for secure wall mounting. Supplied with solid brass screws. We recommend installation by an experienced contractor or competent DIY installer.

Finish Notes

Finished with a natural wax to enhance the rich grain of the sapele hardwood. As with all solid timber, natural variation in colour and grain is part of its character. The raw sand-cast bronze brackets are left unlacquered and will naturally develop a beautiful patina over time, making every shelf subtly unique.
