Design

The Small Bedside Shelf is designed for bedrooms where space is at a premium. The bevelled timber edge softens the profile, while the exposed sand-cast bronze brackets become a feature in their own right, adding warmth, texture and character.

I'm a great believer that if you can see the floor beside the bed, the room immediately feels calmer and more spacious. That's why I often choose a bedside shelf over a traditional bedside table. This smaller version is perfect for compact bedrooms, providing enough space for the essentials without visually filling the room.

Finish Notes

Finished with a natural wax to enhance the rich grain of the sapele hardwood. As with all solid timber, natural variation in colour and grain is part of its character. The raw sand-cast bronze brackets will naturally develop a beautiful patina over time, making every shelf subtly unique.
