I love these in small WCs, where they create the perfect spot for a soap bottle, diffuser or a small vase of flowers. I've also used them to great effect in shower and wet room alcoves, cut down to fit the space precisely. If you're planning to use one in a wet area, keep the oak out of direct contact with water or apply a suitable waterproof varnish before installation to protect the timber.
