A properly sized sash lift makes a huge difference to how a window feels in daily use. I wanted this one to feel substantial enough to actually get hold of rather than becoming another tiny piece of decorative hardware. It works beautifully against painted timber and traditional joinery, where the unlacquered brass will gradually age along with the window.

Designed for straightforward face-fix installation to the lower sash, typically centred for balance and ease of use. Supplied with solid brass screws.

Use Case

Designed for opening and closing traditional sash windows. Particularly suited to period properties, painted timber windows, restoration projects and new joinery where traditional solid brass window hardware is required.

Finish Notes

The solid brass is left raw and unlacquered so it can age naturally. With exposure to air and regular handling, the surface will gradually oxidise and mellow, developing a deeper and richer patina over time. Slight variations in colour and surface texture are inherent to traditionally cast brass.
