Drawer Pulls & Cup Handles
Material
Made from solid bronze, this handle is sand-cast and then lovingly hand-finished to ensure exceptional quality and unique character. Subtle variations and surface imperfections are part of the casting process, giving each piece its own distinct personality.
Design
A timeless and minimal profile with a soft tactile feel that complements any kitchen cabinetry. Designed for 18mm thick drawer fronts to allow for the handle to project 3mm beyond the front of the drawer.
Style advice from Mark
This high-end pull genuinely makes people smile. The Moray range is, in my opinion, the finest hardware we make. It has a weight, texture and honesty that is difficult to find in modern cabinet fittings.
Installation
Designed for installation by a skilled joiner. Each Moray handle is unique, with subtle casting variation, so will need to be individually fitted to drawer or cupboard fronts. Face-fixed. Supplied with brass screws.
Craftsmanship
Carefully handcrafted in a British foundry.
Note
The Moray range of cast bronze pull handles is bespoke with a lead time of 3–6 weeks.
Finish Notes
Our Moray handles are finished in matt bronze — unpolished, raw, and quietly elegant. The surface is intentionally left untreated, allowing the metal to age naturally with use. Expect variation in tone and subtle imperfections, which give each handle its own distinct character.
Size Information
The Moray handle is available in one size only, carefully proportioned for drawers and cupboard doors. Its generous length and subtle curve make it a standout detail without overpowering the furniture.
The Moray Range
Also available in the Moray range: a drawer pull, cupboard pull, and a surface-mounted kitchen pull designed for fridge/freezers, dishwashers, and pull-out bin units — all cast in the same distinctive bronze profile.

Material
Made from cast bronze, the Josh Handle combines strength and durability with a raw bronze finish that naturally develops a unique patina over time.
Design
A surface-mounted pull handle that projects from the face of the joinery, making it easy to grip from above or below. Its simple form and generous projection make it particularly comfortable to use on drawers, kitchen cabinetry and cupboard doors.
Style advice from Mark
The Josh has a confident presence on cabinetry and feels good in the hand. I often use it where I want the hardware to be seen and appreciated rather than quietly blending into the background.
Installation
Easy to install. Supplied with brass screws for secure attachment.
Craftsmanship
Carefully handcrafted in a British foundry.
Material
Made from solid sand-cast bronze. The handle is left raw and unlacquered, allowing the bronze to naturally develop a deeper patina over time as it reacts to touch and air.
Design
A classic cabinet pull handle with balanced proportions and a reassuring weight in the hand. The traditional sand-casting process gives the surface a soft, honest texture that distinguishes it from factory-made hardware.
Style advice from Mark
This is a dependable, traditional handle that works beautifully on painted kitchen cabinetry, pantry cupboards, wardrobes and utility room joinery. I particularly like it where the deeper tone of bronze sits against painted timber or natural wood.
Installation
A straightforward surface-mounted cabinet pull handle suitable for drawers and cupboard doors. Supplied with solid brass screws.
Craftsmanship
Carefully handcrafted in a British foundry using traditional sand-casting techniques.
Shipping
Dispatched within 3 working days.
We ship worldwide, including the USA.
Use Case
Ideal for kitchen cabinets, drawers, pantry cupboards, wardrobes and utility room joinery. Equally at home in Victorian and Georgian interiors or contemporary cabinetry where traditional materials provide warmth and character.
Finish Notes
Raw sand-cast bronze, left unlacquered to age naturally. Over time the bronze will oxidise, developing a richer and darker patina with use before eventually settling into a deep brown tone. Subtle variations in colour and texture are part of the casting process, making every handle unique.
The George Range
Also available in solid cast brass, offering the same timeless design in two traditional metals.
Material
Made from solid sand-cast brass and left unlacquered so the surface can age naturally. Unlike plated or factory-finished hardware, the brass will gradually deepen in colour through touch, air and everyday use, giving each handle an individual patina.
Design
The George is a simple, beautifully proportioned cabinet pull with the weight and substance of solid cast brass. Its softly textured surface comes directly from the traditional sand-casting process, giving it a character that feels quite different from perfectly uniform, mass-produced hardware.
Style advice from Mark
This is one of those handles that doesn't need to shout. I particularly like it on painted kitchen cupboards, pantry cabinetry and wardrobes, where the warm brass sits beautifully against timber and painted joinery. Because the brass is unlacquered, it only gets better with age — the places you touch gradually change, and the handle becomes part of the furniture rather than simply something fixed to it.
Installation
A straightforward surface-mounted pull handle suitable for drawers and cupboard doors. Supplied with solid brass screws.
Craftsmanship
Individually sand-cast and hand-finished in a British foundry using traditional casting techniques. The slight variations in surface texture and finish are inherent to the process and give every handle its own character.
Shipping
Dispatched within 3 working days.
We ship worldwide, including the USA.
Use Case
Ideal for kitchen cabinets, drawers, pantry cupboards, wardrobes, utility rooms and bespoke fitted joinery. Its simple proportions make it equally suited to traditional interiors and more contemporary cabinetry where the warmth and texture of solid brass provide contrast.
Finish Notes
The brass is intentionally left raw and unlacquered. When new it will appear relatively bright, then gradually oxidise and mellow with use. Over time it develops a richer, deeper patina, eventually moving towards the dark brown tones characteristic of naturally aged brass. Areas that are regularly handled will continue to change differently from untouched areas.
The George Range
Also available in solid cast bronze — the same George design offered in two traditional metals.
Material: Made from solid bronze, this handle is sand-cast and hand-finished to achieve a rich, warm tone with subtle surface variation. The material has a natural depth that will continue to develop a darker patina over time.
Design: Based directly on an original early 20th-century cast iron handle, the Jake has a simple, utilitarian profile with honest proportions. The form remains unchanged, quiet, functional and beautifully proportioned.
Style advice from Mark: The Jake has the honesty of an old workshop handle but feels equally at home in a well-detailed kitchen or wardrobe. It's a handle I often use where I want something understated, dependable and capable of being repeated across a large run of cabinetry without becoming overbearing.
Installation: A straightforward face-fixed pull handle suitable for doors, drawers, and cupboards. Supplied with brass screws.
Craftsmanship: Carefully handcrafted in a British foundry.
Finish Notes: Our bronze hardware is left raw and unlacquered. Over time it will slowly oxidise, developing a richer and darker patina with use, eventually settling into a deep brown tone. Each handle will age slightly differently, adding depth and individuality.
Size Information: A well-balanced pull suitable for cupboard doors and drawers, particularly where a more robust and tactile handle is desired.
The Jake Range: This handle is also available as an original vintage cast iron version, sourced from a historic London ironmongers, as well as in cast brass.

Style advice from Mark
This is a very versatile handle. It brings the character of the original into more refined spaces — kitchens, wardrobes and utility rooms — particularly where a lighter, warmer tone is preferred over bronze.

The Jake Range
Also available as an original vintage cast iron version and in cast bronze, all based directly on the same early 20th-century handle.
Material
Made from original early 20th-century cast iron. These handles formed part of historic ironmongers' stock and have developed a naturally aged surface over decades. Each piece carries subtle variations, marks and signs of age that give it genuine character.
Design
A simple, utilitarian pull handle with timeless proportions shaped by function rather than fashion. Honest, robust and beautifully understated, it has the quiet confidence that only genuine period hardware possesses.
Style advice from Mark
This is the real thing, not a reproduction. I tend to use it in pantries, boot rooms, utility rooms and on reclaimed furniture, where its honest, workmanlike character feels completely at home. It also sits beautifully within contemporary interiors where a single authentic detail can bring warmth and personality.
Installation
A straightforward face-fixed pull handle suitable for doors, drawers and cupboards. Supplied with solid brass screws.
Craftsmanship
Originally cast in Britain during the early twentieth century using traditional foundry methods.
Condition
Supplied as original vintage stock. Expect signs of age, wear and variation between pieces. These are part of the history and character of each handle rather than imperfections.
Dimensions
Please refer to the dimensioned drawing for full measurements.
Shipping
Dispatched within 3 working days.

Use Case
Ideal for cupboard doors, drawers, wardrobes, utility rooms, boot rooms, pantries and reclaimed furniture. Perfect for restoration projects and interiors where authentic period hardware is preferred over modern reproductions.
Finish Notes
The cast iron has aged naturally over many decades, producing a rich, gently worn surface that cannot be artificially replicated. Every handle is unique, with its own subtle variations in colour, texture and patina.
Provenance
These handles originate from Thomas Brothers, the long-established ironmongers at 798–804 Holloway Road, Archway, London. Established in 1920, the shop supplied generations of local tradespeople working on the surrounding Victorian terraces and period buildings. When the business finally closed, we acquired the remaining crate of approximately 500 original handles. Fewer than 100 now remain, and once they're gone there will be no more.
The Jake Range
Also available as newly cast versions in solid brass and cast bronze, faithfully reproduced from this original vintage handle.

Material
Made from solid cast iron using the traditional sand-casting process. Each piece is hand-finished to bring out the natural character and subtle imperfections of the raw iron. These details reflect the honest charm of traditional British craftsmanship and make every handle unique.
Design
The 7-inch Gareth handle is a strong, functional pull designed for cabinetry that calls for something with weight and presence — ideal for pantries, wardrobes and built-in joinery. Its pared-back profile and slightly softened edges bring quiet authority without overstatement.
Style advice from Mark
The Large Gareth works particularly well on taller cupboard doors, wardrobes and pantry units where a handle with a little more scale feels appropriate. I particularly like using them in repetition across paired doors or runs of cabinetry. The cast iron gives them a straightforward, utilitarian quality that works beautifully with painted joinery and natural timber.

The Gareth Range
Also available in Medium 5" and Extra Large 9". All three sizes share the same cast profile, allowing different sizes to be used across a room while keeping the hardware consistent.
Material
Made from solid cast iron using the traditional sand-casting method, this extra large cabinet handle offers exceptional strength and authenticity. Each pull is hand-finished in the UK, revealing the natural grain and character of the iron. Minor surface variation is part of the process, giving every handle its own unique character — a hallmark of traditional British ironmongery.
Design
At 9 inches in length, this is the largest handle in the Gareth range. Its generous scale makes it particularly suited to larders, tall cupboards, built-in wardrobes and full-height cabinetry. The straight profile and pared-back form give it presence without unnecessary decoration.
Style advice from Mark
The Extra Large Gareth works best where the scale of the cabinetry can take a substantial handle. I particularly like it on full-height pantry cupboards and wardrobes, where a smaller pull can sometimes look a little lost. The cast iron works beautifully against painted timber and darker-stained woods, giving the joinery a straightforward, utilitarian feel.
Installation
Face-fixed with two visible fixings for a simple, traditional look. Supplied with mild steel screws.

Use Case
Ideal for tall kitchen and pantry cupboards, larders, wardrobes, utility room cabinetry, boot rooms and larger pieces of built-in joinery.
Finish Notes
Finished with a clear protective wax to retain the natural deep grey tone of the cast iron and slow oxidation. With time and handling, the wax may gradually wear back, allowing the surface to develop a softer, richer patina. The handle can be re-waxed if desired or simply allowed to age naturally.
The Gareth Range
Also available in Large 7" and Medium 5". All three sizes share the same cast profile, allowing different sizes to be used across a room while keeping the hardware consistent.
Material
Made from solid cast copper and individually hand-finished. The traditional casting process gives the surface a subtle texture and variation, while the natural copper will continue to change in tone and character as it ages.
Design
The Medium Gareth is a simple, well-proportioned 5-inch cabinet pull with a pared-back profile and the unusual warmth of solid copper. Its compact size makes it particularly suited to drawers and standard cupboard doors, while the weight and texture of the cast metal give it considerably more presence than a mass-produced handle.
Style advice from Mark
Copper is such an interesting material for hardware because it starts with that distinctive warm colour and then changes completely as it ages. I particularly like this version of the Gareth against painted timber, darker woods and natural materials. The 5-inch size works beautifully on kitchen drawers and cupboard doors where you want the hardware to be noticeable without dominating the joinery.
Installation
A straightforward face-fixed cabinet pull suitable for drawers and cupboard doors. Supplied with solid brass screws.
Craftsmanship
Individually hand-cast in a British foundry using traditional casting techniques. Slight variations in surface texture, patina and finish are inherent to the process and make every handle unique.

Use Case
Ideal for kitchen cabinets, drawers, pantry cupboards, utility room cabinetry, wardrobes and bespoke fitted joinery.
Finish Notes
Copper is a living material and will naturally oxidise with exposure to air and touch. The initially warm copper colour will gradually deepen and develop a richer patina over time. Areas that are handled regularly may age differently from untouched areas, giving each handle an individual finish.
The Gareth Range
The Gareth design is also available in other sizes and metals, allowing the same simple cast profile to be used across different pieces of cabinetry and joinery.
An art deco spin on the classic pull handle, this is the one for anyone looking to add a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ to their joinery

Handmade Drawer Pulls and Cup Handles
Our collection of drawer pulls, cup handles and cupboard handles brings together traditional British craftsmanship and carefully considered design. Sand-cast and hand-finished in Britain, these fittings are made for kitchens, cabinetry, furniture and architectural joinery where the quality of the smallest details matters.
The collection includes handles in raw bronze, brass, cast iron and cast copper, with designs ranging from understated traditional cup pulls to distinctive sculptural fittings.
The Moray Collection – Cast Bronze
The Moray collection is one of our most distinctive ranges, designed for bespoke kitchens and cabinetry.
The Moray Drawer Pull sits neatly beneath the drawer front, creating an elegant curved opening without the appearance of a conventional surface-mounted handle.
The Moray Cupboard Pull is designed for cupboard doors, with left- and right-handed versions allowing the handles to work together across a kitchen or fitted interior.
The Moray Kitchen Pull provides a more substantial grip for larger cupboard doors and cabinetry.
Made in raw, unlacquered bronze, the Moray handles develop a natural patina over time. Their sculptural forms make them particularly appealing to interior designers, architects and cabinetmakers working on carefully detailed interiors.
Traditional Cup Handles
Our collection also includes traditional cup handles for drawers, kitchens and furniture.
The George Handle, available in cast bronze and cast brass, has a familiar curved form that works particularly well with painted kitchen cabinetry.
The Jake Handle is offered in cast bronze and brass, alongside an original vintage cast iron version. Its simple, practical shape makes it suitable for traditional drawers and furniture.
The Josh Handle offers a different interpretation of the traditional drawer pull, combining a straightforward form with the individual texture of sand-cast bronze.
The collection also includes the Dan Handle in cast brass and the Deco Handle in cast bronze.
Gareth Pull Handles
Our Gareth Pull Handle is available in several sizes and materials, including cast bronze, cast iron and cast copper.
The medium size is suitable for drawers and smaller cupboards, while the large and extra-large versions provide a more generous grip for tall cupboards, pantry doors and integrated appliances.
Natural Materials and British Craftsmanship
Our bronze and brass handles are supplied unlacquered, allowing their surfaces to age naturally through use. The warmth of the metal complements painted cabinetry, natural timber, marble and other traditional materials.
At Mark Lewis Interior Design, we favour honest fittings made with care. Whether specifying handles for an entire kitchen or replacing a single drawer pull, this collection offers distinctive hardware designed to become part of the character of the furniture itself.
