Made from solid Sapele hardwood, chosen for its strength, durability and rich natural colour. The close grain and warm tone make it particularly well suited to traditional and bespoke furniture.

Design

A traditionally turned furniture leg designed for ottomans, footstools and benches. The shaped turned section gives the leg a strong architectural profile, while the square section at the top is designed to integrate into the timber frame of the furniture.

Style advice from Mark

I particularly like Sapele for furniture legs because the timber has enough colour and character to stand on its own. This works beautifully on upholstered ottomans and footstools, especially alongside natural linens, patterned fabrics and other traditional materials.

Installation

The 7 cm square section at the top of the leg is designed to integrate securely into the timber frame of an ottoman or footstool. Installation should use an appropriate fixing method for the construction of the furniture.
