• Material:
Crafted from two turned spindles of solid sapele hardwood with a warm, rich grain, shaped in a subtle bamboo-style profile. Finished with cast bronze end brackets, available in either Raw Bronze or Oil Rubbed Bronze. The combination of hardwood and bronze gives the piece natural warmth and textural depth.

• Design:
A refined double towel rail designed for compact utility. Ideal for hanging tea towels, hand towels, or cloths in kitchens, pantries, larders, WCs, or bathrooms. The gently turned hardwood rods echo a bamboo rhythm — understated but full of character — while the bronze brackets provide structural balance and a nod to traditional fittings.

• Style advice from Mark:
We wanted something that felt like it belonged in a working Victorian scullery — but smarter. This rail adds a bit of grace to a functional corner. I use one in my own kitchen on the back of the larder door for tea towels. It works particularly well mounted under a shelf, on a panel, or behind a door — anywhere you need a dedicated spot for a towel that doesn’t get in the way.

• Installation:
The rail comes fully assembled, but gains its full strength and stability once mounted to a wall. Wall-mounted and face-fixed using the two cast bronze brackets. Supplied with brass screws.

• Craftsmanship:
Each bracket is cast in bronze using traditional methods and hand-finished in Britain. The sapele hardwood spindles are turned in small batches by a UK woodturner.

• Finish Notes:
The Pantry Rail is available in two bronze finishes:

Raw Bronze – Left unlacquered with a natural, sand-cast character. This finish will develop a rich patina over time, gradually deepening in colour and mellowing with age and use.

Oil Rubbed Bronze – A dark brown finish, close to black in colour. This finish has a deeper, more settled tone from the outset, offering a stronger architectural contrast against timber and painted cabinetry. As with all our bronze, it is unlacquered and will evolve subtly over time.

The sapele hardwood is lightly waxed to bring out its grain and offer a soft sheen. Variations in tone, grain, and surface are part of the character of both materials.

• Size Information:
Approx. 14 inches (36cm) wide between brackets, and projects 4 inches (10cm) from the wall. The rail is designed to hold 2 regular tea towels or up to 4 smaller hand towels, with two towels per level.

• The Pantry Rail Range:
