Sand-Cast Bronze S-Hook

Material

Made from solid sand-cast bronze, with the natural texture and subtle variation created by the traditional casting process. The bronze is left raw and unlacquered so it will develop a richer patina with age and use.

Design

A simple, versatile S-hook designed for hanging everyday items throughout the home. The cast form has a pleasing weight and slight irregularities that give it considerably more character than a machine-made hook.

Style advice from Mark

S-hooks are one of the most useful pieces of hardware you can own. I use them in kitchens for hanging utensils, mugs and brushes, but they're equally useful in utility rooms, pantries, workshops and wardrobes. Their beauty really lies in their simplicity and flexibility.

No installation required. Simply hang from a suitable rail, rack or hanging bar.

Carefully sand-cast and hand-finished in a British foundry using traditional techniques.

Use Case

Finish Notes

The bronze is raw and unlacquered. It will naturally oxidise and develop a deeper, darker patina over time. Areas that are regularly handled may age differently, making each hook increasingly individual with use.
