Soft Furnishings with Character

A carefully chosen fabric can change the character of a room. Our collection of textiles brings together cushion covers in natural linen, velvet, French denim and vintage patterned fabrics, alongside traditional upholstery details. The emphasis is on texture, colour and materials that sit comfortably within a home rather than following a particular fashion.

Cushion Covers in Natural Fabrics

Our cushion covers are selected for their colour, texture and versatility. French linen offers a relaxed, understated finish, with fine and heavier weaves providing different levels of texture. French denim has a soft, lived-in quality, while velvet introduces a richer surface and a little more depth of colour.

The collection includes quiet neutrals such as Portland Stone and Natural, alongside Heron Grey, Petrol, Tea Rose, Fig and Mink. These shades work particularly well with timber, antique furniture, painted joinery and natural materials.

Available in square and rectangular sizes, the cushion covers can be combined to introduce subtle variations in texture and proportion. A mixture of plain fabrics often works as well as a combination of patterns and colours.

Vintage Floral Fabrics

Patterned cushions bring another layer of interest to a room. Our vintage Liberty print cushion covers and William Morris floral designs introduce colour and decorative detail without overwhelming the surrounding furniture.

These fabrics are particularly suited to traditional interiors, although they can be equally effective against simpler, contemporary upholstery. A single patterned cushion on a plain sofa or armchair can provide just enough contrast.

The smaller rectangular cushions are useful on armchairs, window seats and beds, where their proportions work well alongside larger cushions.

Traditional Upholstery Details

Alongside the textiles, the collection includes sand-cast bronze upholstery buttons and turned timber legs for ottomans and window seats.

The bronze buttons offer a distinctive alternative to conventional covered upholstery buttons, introducing a small detail of exposed metal to a traditionally upholstered piece. Their surface has the character associated with sand casting and hand finishing.

Our turned sapele legs are designed for upholstered furniture, including ottomans and window seats, where the shape and finish of the timber contribute to the overall design.

Considered Materials for the Home

Whether choosing a single cushion cover or the finishing details for a bespoke piece of furniture, the intention is the same: materials with character, useful proportions and colours that will continue to feel at home as an interior evolves.

The collection brings together soft furnishings and traditional furniture details that complement both period houses and contemporary interiors.
